JCMU students have the option to live either at the JCMU Residence Hall or with a Japanese family (in a "homestay"). All students will live in the Residence Hall for their first week at JCMU and those interested in a homestay will then meet with the JCMU Homestay Coordinator for an interview, who will then place the student in a homestay.
